SANYA RITCHIE, M.A.

Sanya Ritchie has recently relocated from Vancouver to Nelson to join Summit Psychology Group as a Testing Technician. She administers and scores psychological and neuropsychological tests under the supervision of Drs. Martzke, Kettner and Beresford. Ms. Ritchie graduated from Simon Fraser University in Psychology (Honours). She then received her Master’s Degree in Vocational Rehabilitation from the University of British Columbia.

Ms. Ritchie has experience working with clients ranging in age from as young as 2 years old to elderly adults. She administers tests that help identify conditions such as autism, learning disabilities, ADHD, traumatic brain injury and dementia. Over the past decade, Ms. Ritchie gained experience in several psychological practices testing clients with both congenital and acquired conditions. She also worked as a vocational and career consultant, counselling clients in career planning and redirection. In addition to her position at Summit Psychology Group, Ms. Ritchie is employed part-time with the Interior Health Authority where she is a testing technician in the Acquired Brain Injury Program of the East and West Kootenay Health Service Areas.
